Want to know what size pram tyre tubes you need? Well, the fastest way to find out what size pram tyres you need is to look on the sidewall of the tyre itself. On the side of the tyre you'll be able to read what size pram tyres you need from the numbers.
For example you might see something like 12 1/2 x 2 1/4 (62-203)
This might seem complicated; but there are two key ingredients to the right tyre size:
1. Tyre diameter
2. Tyre width
The simplest way to work this out is look where the 'x' is or a '-'. In this example the size is 12 1/2 x 2 1/4. Easy.
So. what are the other pieces for I hear you ask! The brackets tend to be what the size is but in it's opposite measurement system, put simply it's a metric / imperial conversion.
12 1/2 x 2 1/4 (Imperial) can be expressed as 62-203 (Metric).
